Introduction: Knex Pocket-Handgun W/ Auto-lock Trigger (auto-lock Optional)
27 pieces of knex = 1 knex pocket-handgun. It may not be the most powerful knex weapon but it works. I hope you enjoy building and using the gun:) (my 1st instructable :) x2)(almost all pics have a note)
Step 1: The Parts You Need
27 pieces total (I'd recommend collecting all the pieces before you start but you can get the pieces as you need them)
Connectors:
yellowx5
greenx1
orangex3
redx1
gray w/ navy blue dotsx1
Rods:
black/greenx3
yellowx4
navy bluex1
Miscellaneous:
small light blue spacerx3
gray endpiecex1
large gray spacerx5
note:sorry about the sideways pic, there wasn't enough room for it
to be horizontal.

Step 2: Now We Get to the Building
Now we get to the building. Get 2 yellow rods and 2 yellow connectors an snap them together like so.
Step 3: The Biggest Step in This Instructable
This is very difficult to explain and(metaphorically) would take an hour if I did. So just follow the picture
note:please don't comment this as being lazy because I'm telling
the truth!

Step 4: The Mainframe
Next, snap the last 3 yellow connectors on the opposite end. Then add the other 2 orange connectors on the end so the rods can only have things on the end.
Step 5: The Firing Pin
Get a yellow rod & the gray connector, snap them together like shown below. Get 2 of the rubber bands, tie them to the gray end piece w/ any knot you want (I used a lark's head, it works!).
Step 6: Firing Pin + Mainframe
Now, you add on the pin. Stick the bar through the hole then get the rubber bands to try to pull the pin forward. (hang in there we're almost done!)
Step 7: A Helpful Support (optional)
see how there is no yellow rod on the gun in the first pic, but there is one on the second pic. That rod is just for support. You do not have to put it on (which F.Y.I. is difficult to put on) but I would recommend.
Step 8: Auto-lock Support (optional)
You see the pieces below, right? Just put them together, and you're done with that step.
Step 9: Putting It All Together
put the support on like so(it with be a snug fit but don't worry about that). Get the last rubber band and put it on the orange connector, bring it around the support, and put it back on the connector (if you don't understand me just look at the picture below)
Step 10: Firing
Fires black/green rods the best. Pull the firing pin until the trigger snaps down. Get what you're going to fire and put it down the barrel. When you're ready to fire pull the trigger down, and there you go, your own Knex Pocket-Handgun. Plz Enjoy
