Hello Boys and Girls!
Here is a rack and pinion prototype I found stashed away in my closet. I originally had the intentions of making a drill press, but this was as far as the design ever came. I would love to see someone take this and make a drill press, but it has potential to be a ball machine element or something else.
I believe the pictures should be pretty self-explanatory.
I hope someone can use this and create something awesome!

i really like this.. i have a use in my mind but you would nee to change it majorly, due to size and lack of strength.
