Introduction: K'nex IPod Touch Dock/Stand.
This is an iPod stand created out of K'nex. It can be easily changed into a dock for your iPod Touch, Classic, or Nano. This does not take long to build and has a very cool shape. I hope you guys enjoy.
Step 1: Building the Basic Pieces.
Build and get the following things...
Step 2: Adding a Little to Your Stand.
Step 3: Finishing the Stand.
Add the final pieces to your stand and you are done.
Thank you for building my iPod stand!!! :)
UPDATE: To turn this K'nex iPod stand into a "Dock" simpley feed the USB end of your cable through the opening in the dock. See 3rd picture. Pull it all the way and connect your iPod to the cable. Plug the USB into your computer and there you have it, an incredible K'nex iPod docking station.

This stand is amazing. At first I wasn't sure I would have enough pieces, but I did. The one problem I had was that I didn't have that flat red piece with the 3 connectors on it, so I used a 180 degree connector and added some of the short rods to the top and sides. But it is still amazing nonetheless. It's like a elegant throne for my glorious iPod.

Very nice dock. I prefer my Lego Dock, but this is a nice change. A couple things to improve: On Step 1, make picture 2 at an angle for which you can see how the green piece is connected to the rod. Another thing is to specify how many of each p art is required. Overall, I liked the design, a bit too bulky for me, but, I would improve some of the instructions, because I was guessing on how to do things for much of the building.
