I have a lot of extra knives in my house that all just get stuffed in a drawer. To combat this I created a wooden knife holder to neatly hold my knives while looking good.

Supplies

3/4 in wood
Wood glue
3 knives
Wood gloss
Miter saw
Band saw
Table saw
Dremel

Step 1: Wood Dimensions

Cut wooden slab into five peices one 4x4in, 7x4in, 6x4in, 4x4in, 5x4in

Step 2: Wood Angles

-For the bottom piece the angles need to be 39 degrees on the left an 45 on the right

-Back piece is 45 degrees on the bottom and 48 on top

-Front piece needs to be 39 degrees on the bottom and 47 on top

-Top left piece needs to be 50 degrees at the bottom and 35 on the top

-top right piece needs to be 55 degrees at the bottom and 35 at the top

Step 3: Knife Slots

In order to fit the knives into the wood slots need to be made. first mark 3 slots on the top 4x4 piece of wood each 1in apart from each other. The three lngths ar 1in .5in and .75in, slots are 1/8in width. Drill a 1/8 in hole all the way through the top and bottom of each knife slot. Then take a dremel and remove the wood on each side of the marked slot to 1/8 inches. After the slots are created glue the pieces back together to the original 4x4.

Step 4: Glue Base

ANow you can take your bottom three peices wit the marked angles and glue them together(4x4in, 7x4in, 6x4in). Apply white woodglue to each angle where the pieces meet. After the glue is applied push the pieces together and clamp until dry

Step 5: Glue Top

Take your piece with your knife slots and the 5x4in wood piece and glue them too the top. of your already dried base. The 5x4 piece should be glued on top of your 7x4 wooden piece facing inward. The 4x4 piece is to be glued on top of the 6x4 wooden piece facing inward aswell. THe 35 degree angles should meet in the middle and be glued thier aswell
