Knotless Braiding

This is a step-by-step tutorial on how to do knotless braid in extensions.

Supplies

For this style I used the following products:

• Design Essentials Sleek Max Edge Control
• Hair ties
• A rat tail comb
• The Sassy Collection Dark Brown Jumbo Braid

Step 1: Detangle and Section

Detangle the hair and begin to part into sections. Part the hair using a middle part and make sure to bring it all the way back to the base of the neck. Begin sectioning the hair into medium sized square shaped sections.

Step 2: Gel the Section

Take the Design Essential Sleek Max edge control and apply to the part lines and the section you are about to braid. Be sure to not apply the edge control to areas ahead of time because it will dry and the hair will be harder to work with.

Step 3: Seperate

Separate the gelled hair into three sections as you would for a normal braid.

Step 4: Braid

Begin a classic three-strand braid; add the synthetic hair as you continue braiding. Braid to a desired length and tie the end with a hair tie.
