Intro: L293D Driver Board for CNC

I have made L293D stepper driver board for the CNC printer

the schamatic of its is also given in this content.

and practice on this circuit is given on youtube.

I drive it using atmega16/32 so i have code for it and that code for manual running for steppers, if you ask for complete firmware like arduino code like for reprap so thats i havent for atmega16/32 cause its not having so much memory for storing hex file.
#floren i made this board for those microcontroller and controller board that gives 4-output steps means if you think to connect with arduino then 12-output pins for gives each ic 4-step output. and if you want to connect it with less no of out put then you required latch or shifter between l293d driver ic and controller board then you can use as easydriver and pollolu driver same as that requred only step, direction and clock pin. Then you can use any firmwares with this driver board. and if you want to use directly this board then make changes in pin configuration in firmware for 4-step pins, no direction and no clock pin requred.

Can I use this with the teacup firmware from reprap and if yes, did you add some interfacing layer?

Which cnc software did you use for the cnc printer? And please let me know how was the interfacing with cnc software you have used, with driver board. Im trying to make a mini cnc drill press with dvd rom stepper motors just to make holes for pcb (atleast for now). Thanks and i will post the same when i made it.

This is the most useful Instruction i have seen in the web about L293D and CNC. Most of the other instructables is not clear about wiring diagram. They just show the physical structure of the project. Thanks for the PCB.... Many many good wishes for you.....
