Introduction: LED Flood Light Repair | Replacing LED Chip and Driver

I have LED flood light with broken LED chip and driver. I replaced the LED chip and driver to new one. Down here are Aliexpress links where you can buy replacement parts.

Step 1: Open the Flood Light and Detect a Problem.

Remove the screws and open the led light. You will see a led chip and driver.
May be you will see a black dots or some other damages on led chip or driver. If not, then you can measure the voltage of driver. If the voltage is 20-40v on this type flood lights, then it's ok and you need to replace the led chip. If there is no voltage, then you have to replace the driver.You can add around 35v to led chip and see if it works.

Step 2: Replacing the Led Chip or Driver

Step 3: Put Things Back Together

Screw things back together.
