the circuit can be acheived by using a transistor on the output but motors cannot represent an analogue or changing wave since the motor shaft will have some inertia to keep it spinning when no more power is supplied

This works a lot better with my iphone than my laptop. Is there a way to boost the brightness with my laptop?

the brightness of the leds depends on the strength of the input so u can make sure that the volume of the music on your laptop is set to the highest setting
