Introduction: LEGO Green Goblin Glider (Comics)

About: I like LEGO, superheroes, fiction books and sometimes making things. :)

Hi everyone! This is my first instructable and I hope this will help your LEGO building ideas.

This is how to make a Green Goblin Glider from the Spiderman comics, loosely based on the one in the LEGO Marvel Superheroes video game, but with a few changes.

Step 1: The Parts

These are parts needed to build the glider:

- 1 1x1 round cylinder brick, grey

- 3 1x2 plates, grey

- 1 2x4 plate, grey

- 1 small flame, trans-orange

- 2 flags, grey

- 1 1x2 attic, grey (that's what it was called on brickset)

- 1 2x4 wheel arch, grey

- 1 1x2 jumper plate, grey

- 2 1x2 plate with handle, grey

- 2 1x2 plate with clips, grey

- 2 1x2 angular plate with studs

- 2 1x2 plate with handle 3.18, grey

- 2 2x2 plate with 1 technic hole, grey

- 4 1x2 lattice/grill slope, grey

It doesn't matter what shades of grey you use (I had a mixture of dark/light), unless you want to make a custom one.

Step 2: The Body of the Glider

To make the body of the glider, you need to:

1. Put the 2 angular plates with studs and place them on the 2x4 plate on each end

2.Take the 2 1x2 plates with handle (3.18) and put them in the middle of the 2x4 plate

3. Attach the wheel arch onto the very front of the body

4. Take the 3 1x2 plates and put two of them together with one sideways on top

5. Place it on the back of the glider as shown in the picture (with the one on top at the end)

6. Attach the jumper plate onto the back angular brick (on the side studs - not on top)

7. Put the flame piece into the round cylinder brick and then put it onto the jumper plate

Step 3: The Wings of the Glider - Right Wing

1. Attach the 1x2 plate with clips on the left side of the 2x2 plate with 1 technic hole (with the hole facing you) and the 1x2 plate with handle on the right side.

2. Put the flag piece onto the 1x2 plate with handle - make sure it is facing the same way as in the picture -

3. Place 2 of the lattice/grill slopes sideways on the wing. Make sure they have the end of the slope near the flag piece.

4. Attach the wing onto the 1x2 plate with handle (3.18) on the main body as in the picture

Step 4: The Wings of the Glider - Left Wing

1. Attach the 1x2 plate with clips on the right side of the 2x2 plate with 1 technic hole (with the hole facing you) and the 1x2 plate with handle on the left side.

Step 5: Finally..

Now finally we need to add the 1x2 attic piece and we're done. Attach the 1x2 attic piece onto the front studs (opposite the flame piece) with the point facing down as in the picture and your done.

Step 6: You're Done!

Now you have finished your green goblin glider and can finally have some fun!
(optional) If you want, use some clear bricks to make it look like it's flying!
