I love it but I'm having a nxt battles comp with my mate so if u could make a robot that could follow something and attack it with hammer/saw/gun please it would be awesome
hey for a nxt robot to follow something it will be very difficult, due to programming issues and the ultrasonic sensor are not that sensitive . Thus why i use remote control to control my robots. For a good robot i suggest a main tank shaped body and a saw just at the bottom that spins at a high rate with the help of gears. When ur saw spins it should knocks the enemies robot off course.:D
Can you program it to chase a cat? Great job!
why would you want it to do that? I mean...the saw blades actually hurt...
But programing ot to chase things would be very, very hard.
Well, replace the blades with slow moving brush (my cat loves a good brushing!)

I was thinking the cat might need to ware a led (blue light?) around the neck, perhaps with halter. The fun part will be the search for programming.. starting in the direction the cat was last moving towards. (PS. I'm not suggesting anyone nail the leds into the cat!!)

You could start with a colored ping pong ball - in fact my cat would take it away, he loves ping pong balls and spends time in the dry bathtub chasing them around until they escape out of the tub (the balls) and are chased into hiding somewhere the cat can't get to it.

Cats are okay, but the real fun is with a ferret..little cartoon-like pet.. at least my last 6 were.
Pls vote for me in the hurricane contest:)
