Introduction: Lapghan for Mom
This is a lapghan I made for my husbands 96 year old mother, who is in an assisted living center and complains that the tempurature is often too cold for her. I went looking locally for a Lion Brand Yarn and the store did not have enough to complete the project. So, I found a new yarn called "I Love This Yarn" and the colors (Cranapple & Aubergine) and softness seemed to fit my vision, and I bought it. I used a very old pattern book from Leisure Arts, copyright 1998 called Snuggletime Baby Afghans with some modifications. A G/6-4.25mm Boye crochet hook was used.

She actually hasn't seen it yet. She is in Idaho and we are in New Mexico. I just finished it and told her it would be in the mail this week.

I'm not sure where that came from, just kind of popped into my head as I was trying to think of a way to describe it.
