Introduction: Large Granny Square Baby Blanket
I crocheted this granny square blanket for my best friend's baby daughter for Christmas. It was my first crochet project and couldn't have been easier. I used Red Heart yarn in white, light pink & raspberry (1 7 oz. skein of each) and used a J/10 crochet hook. I made 3 rounds of each color, repeating 4 times. To finish the decorative edge, I single crocheted twice around the whole blanket, then double crocheted 5 times in every other single crochet.

Nice job! That's a pretty big blanket! (For a baby). And good close up pictures too, I love the colors and decorations.

Thanks! The little girl just actually turned 2, so she uses it in her crib, and then she can use it in her bed as she gets older!
