Large Newspaper Origami Boxes

Need a place to stash your stuff ? Do you have newspaper? Make some boxes!

Supplies

Large sheet of newspaper

scissors

glue ( optional)

bone folder ( I use a wooden block)

Step 1: Making a Square

You might think that newspaper is a perfect square but its not. Fold the paper corner to corner like shown. Trim of extra. * use bone folder on all folds *

Step 2: Starting to Fold

Because we are using newspaper it already has creases in half both ways. We can just fold the sides into the middle like shown do so with both sides. unfold.

Step 3: More Folding

fold all the corners to the center like shown. unfold two points like shown.

Step 4: Even More Folding

fold the edges in like shown. unfold. fold the other two points in and repeat DO NOT UNFOLD THE FOLDS.

Step 5: The Tricky Part

fold up the sides like shown. then fold down the flap. repeat.

Step 6: Gluing

glue down all the flaps inside the box.

Step 7: Done

Now you have a box!
