Laser Cut Wedding Table Numbers

Introduction: Laser Cut Wedding Table Numbers

About: Hi. My name is Adelle and I work for Trotec Laser, Inc. In my spare time I enjoy sharing projects for people to use on their lasers.

Looking for a great DIY project for your wedding? Make your own table numbers on a CO2 laser with these free files!

What You'll Need:

  • 1/8" Alder Wood (12 sheets)
  • CO2 Flatbed Laser System (we used a Trotec Speedy 400 120W with a 1.5" lens)

Step 1: Preparation

Download the file below, or create your own in your preferred graphics program. You can also edit the existing PDF files to reflect your equipment's table size or your material sheet size. We used CorelDraw x8 to create our designs.

Step 2: Laser Process

Cut out the table numbers following our parameters below. Keep in mind the power of your own system and make necessary adjustments, and make sure you're focused in on the material. For best results, we also recommend masking off the rest of the bed to maximize air flow.

Laser Parameters:

Cutting (red hairline): Power: 100%, Speed: 2.3%, Frequency: 2000 Hz, Air Assist: ON

Additional Tip: Turn on "Enhanced Geometries" and "Inner geometries first" in JobControl to maximize your cutting results.

Step 3: Assembly

Simply interlock the slots on the base and the base attachment and, voila! You have a finished table number for your beautiful wedding! These table numbers can also be made with acrylic or TroLase plastics.
