Ah, the mime. The most non-verbal clown that performs without a single word. Now, you can give it a rock n roll twist with this last minute costume idea using items that you might already have in your closet!

STEP 1: Basic Outfit

To start, I began with a black & white striped shirt and black leggings. These make the base for your classic mime costume!

STEP 2: Shoes and Accessories

Now, for accessories, you can use the following:

• red or black sneakers
• a red neckscarf
• a black beret or newsboy cap
• white gloves

Most of these accessories were all found inside my closet...well, except for the white gloves which were bought from the Dollar Store.

STEP 3: Make-Up

Finally, of course, a mime can't go out with this classic make-up. So, I gave it a rock n roll spin with a design inspired by KISS. Today, I did Paul Stanley's Starchild, but you can choose whichever other KISS bandmate you like!

STEP 4: Done!

Now, get ready to rock n roll all night! Clearly, last minute costumes, like this one, allow you to get a little more creative, even if you can't afford a highly expensive piece. This French mime, for example, is one of them. The costume takes no more than 10 minutes to put together (including, if not including make-up), and it's a great way to add a fun twist to an otherwise tried and true ensemble!
