Introduction: Launchable Dog Slingshot Ball
Can easily be Launched over 300 feet. My dog goes crazy for it, Check it out on the video below.
Step 1: Supplies Needed
2 feet of Surgical (Found at most Hardware stores)
Rubber Ball (Found mine at the Dollar store)
Coathanger or wire
Drill
Step 2: Easy to Make
Drill a hole through the ball. Drill the hole the sames size as your surgical tubing. For example, if you bought 3/8 surgical tubing, then you would dill the hole 3/8.
Cut and bend a coathanger in half, so it can fit through the hole you drilled. Push the coathanger throught the ball. Then fold a piece of the surgical tubing around the coathanger. Make sure that the piece you fold over the coathanger is just smaller than the size of the ball. Pull the coathanger back through the ball, and make sure the surgical tubing stays folded as you pull. Repeat this process with the other end of the surgical tubing. Not it will be harder to pull the second time around.
Once complete it should look like the last picture below.
Step 3: Launch Time
Pull back and launch. It can easily be launched over 300 feet :D.

you have also got to be careful that the surgical tubing is strongly attached to the ball or it could come loose and the dog could choke on the elastic, aside from that, fantastic project, a good alternative to the bulky plastic ball throwers.

cool, and work fine. just made it right now! i used a screwdriver to pass the serurgical tube. just a precision, don't let your dog alone with it. the tube could geet around his head and he would suffocate.
