Intro: Lavender Bubble Bath

Have you ever wanted to have a quick, easy bubble bath when none was around? Despair no longer! This step-by-step will teach you how to make a luxury lavender bubble bath in only 5 minutes. So don't wait! Enjoy!

STEP 1: Gather Materials

For this project you'll need:

Liquid measuring cup,
Teaspoon,
Mixing bowl,
Two cups of white shampoo,
Three cups of water,
Two teaspoons  of salt,
Red and blue food coloring,
Ten drops of lavender essential oil
Empty shampoo bottle or other storage container

STEP 2: Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl mix 2 cups of white shampoo, 3 cups of water, and 2 teaspoons of salt. Stir until thick.

STEP 3: Add Color

While stirring, add red and blue food coloring until you obtain your desired purple color.

STEP 4: Add Scent

Add 10 drops of lavender essential oil to get a wonderful lavender scent. 
ALTERNITAVE: Skip this step, and merely use lavender scented shampoo from the beginning.

STEP 5: Bottle

Pour the completed mixture into a shampoo storage container.

STEP 6: Finished!

Why not simply use the shampoo directly, and if you want essential oil, add it separately to the bath water?

I suppose that could work as well. This is just a way to have the scent and bubbles in one, rather than having to add them both separately.
