Easy Layered Pie Slice Sculptue/model, From Cardboard, and Brown Paper

I do not know how to bake a pie... but I do know how to cut c a r d b o a r d. So in this instructable, I'll be showing you how to make this tasty (not so much) pie slice. It is a very fun but simple sculpture, put this in the middle of the dinner table and see what your family says!

Supplies

• Scissors (for smaller parts)
• Precision knife
• Craft glue
• Brown paper
• Cardboard (Duh...)
• Hot-glue gun (optional but a HUGE help)
• honeycomb cardboard (optional but a really nice thing if you have it...)

Step 1: The Layers of Pie

Start by cutting out a pie shape, make many layers, and if you have honeycomb grid cardboard, use that as one of the layers. if you don't have any honeycomb grid you can make it just as well by gluing fake cream in between the layers of cardboard. Also, you can cut out a strip of peeled cardboard and glue it so that the corrugations show, for more contrast of texture.

Step 2: Cream on Top

First, crumple a wide strip of brown paper and crumple it for the crust, crumple another piece and use it for a dollop of ice cream. now, this is when the glue gun comes in useful, glue the crumpled paper on top of the pie, make a dollop for the ice cream, and another for the crust. Glue both on top of the slice.

Step 3: Plate and Fork

Cut out a circle and crimp the edges upward (optional), for the fork, take brown paper and use the hot glue gun to glue pieces of brown paper on top of each other. once solidified, cut out the shape of the fork, you can use a real fork for reference.

Step 4: Fake Bite...

Now it is a bit cringy to do this, but using a knife cut out a piece of the pie, if it is rough that is just fine. Glue both pieces to the plate in a pleasing pose.

Next, cut out small bits of cardboard, and glue them randomly around the slice, before gluing them down to the plate.

Step 5: Wrapping Up

I tried to get creative by gluing the fork in a levitating position, but it did not work out very well. so I just laid it on the plate near the pie.

Step 6: Time to Eat...

Now your pie is fresh and warm off the cutting mat, on a plate, with a fork towards your hand, nothing left to do but to eat it, by putting it on display, let people feast their eyes on your interesting sculpture.
