Supplies

You will need:

.A guitar

(and thats all)

Step 1: Playing the a String.

Put your pointer finger, middle finger, and ring finger on the 3rd 4th and 5th string on the second fret.

Step 2: Learning How to Play D

With D, you still use the first three fingers on your hand, but this time you place your pointer finger on the fourth string, second fret. And your middle finger on 6th string, 2nd fret. And then you put your ring finger on 5th string, 3rd fret. And there you have it. D.

Step 3: How to Play G

To play G, you put your pointer finger on the 2nd string 2nd fret.

Then put your middle finger on 1st string 3rd fret.

And finally put your ring finger on 6th string 3rd fret.

This chord is probably the most played chord in guitar.

Step 4: Learning the C Chord

This one is probably the most tricky out of all of them because your fingers are spread out the most.

You put your ring finger on 2nd string 3rd fret.

Now put your middle finger on the 3rd string, 2nd fret.

And finally put your pointer finger on the 5th string, 1st fret.

And there you have it. The C chord.

Step 5: Learning E

I like this one because it sounds nice. But other than that its also really useful.

So what you want to do, is put your pointer finger on the 4th string 1st fret.

Then put your middle finger on the 2nd string, 2nd fret.

And finally put your ring finger on the 3rd string 2nd fret.

And that right there is E
