Introduction: Lego Star
Twinkle twinkle! This is another twofer Instructable that will show you how to make both a 5-pointed star and a 3-pointed star thingy. I just wish LEGO made glow in the dark 1x2s so I could really make this twinkle!
Step 1:
5-point Star
You will need:
-210 1x2 bricks
for two colors: 105 of each color
for three colors: 70 of each color
3-point Star
You will need:
-180 1x2 bricks
for two colors: 90 of each color
for three colors: 60 of each color
Step 2:
Start to stack the bricks to form a strip as shown. The white brick (what will be the middle layer) should overhang the bottom brick, this makes connecting the model easier.
Step 3:
After you build a strip with 7 (10 works better for the 3-pointed one) bricks in each row it's time to change directions. Turn the next white brick 90 degrees. Add the top layer of bricks for support.
Step 4:
Continuing in the direction of the turned brick, build another strip that is 7 (or 10 for the 3-pointed one) bricks long on the top layer.
Step 5:
Continue in a zig-zag pattern until you've made 5 peaks and 5 valleys (3 peaks and valleys for the 3-pointed).
Step 6:
Curve the model to make the two ends meet. Hold the two ends close together in one end and add the final brick to secure. Done!

Thank you. It's my favorite. I really want to make the 5-point star with that coloring but I need a few more dark pink bricks, sigh, maybe some day haha.
