Do you need a bunch of dinosaurs for your LEGO creations?

Here I’m with the solution: The LEGOSAURUS!

Little plastic dinosaurs refurbished to play with LEGO.

(note: first I published it in "spanish" but I don't like how different languages works in Instructables)

Saludos amiguetes!
Necesitáis un puñado de dinosaurios en vuestros dioramas LEGO? Aquí os traigo la solución: Los LEGOSAURUS! Pequeños dinosaurios de plástico reconvertidos para jugar con LEGO.

Step 1: Bill of Materials and Tools

Bill of Materials and Tools
Let’s see what we need:

-Plastic dinosaurs (size depends on what you found, have or desire)

-Some different sized LEGO pieces. More useful are the ones with only one prod.

-Modeling Scalpel.

-Modeling saw.

-Plastic glue. Cyanocrilate one is ok, but the modeling plastic glue is better because when dry solder the different pieces and maintains some elasticity.

Veamos lo que necesitaremos:
-Dinosaurios de plástico (el tamaño dependerá de lo que se encuentre, tenga o desee) .

-Un puñado de piezas de LEGO de diferentes tamaños, pero sobretodo, las más útiles serán las de un solo pincho.

-Bisturí,

-Sierra de modelismo.

-Pegamento de plástico, el cyanocrilato también funcionaría, pero el pegamento de plástico de modelismo, es mejor, porqué suelda los componentes y mantiene una cierta flexibilidad.

Step 2: Bellysaurus

Let’s begin with the Dimetrodon and convert it to an Abdomenolegosaurus aka Bellysaurus
On the animal’s belly, take measure of the space needed to accommodate a “one prod” simple lego piece. Using the modelling scalpel we begin, carefully, cutting the animal’s abdomen. Let’s taking measures until the piece fits. Glue and insert the piece. Wait 24 hours and… Voliá!

Empecemos con el Dimetrodon y convirtamos-lo en un Abdomenolegosaurio.
En el abdomen del bicho, tomaremos medidas del espacio que hemos de agujerear para clavar la pieza de lego. Con el bisturí, empezaremos, con mucho cuidado a vaciar el agujero una vez hecho, iremos tomando medidas hasta que la pieza encaje, encolaremos e insertamos la pieza. Secar 24 horas y voilá!

Step 3: Legodocus, Kangaroolego, Alolego, Velocilego and L-Rex

When seen one, seen all. And for that, let’s seen all at once.
Reconvert the Sthenurus to a Kangaroolego by the way to insert two round pieces on her foots.

To cut these round little pieces, who slide and escape, stick them on a largest one and with the modeling saw (or scalpel) cut the don’t needed part.

To the Diplodocus we stick a two prodded piece on the spine. Cut the spine to leave it plain and marc with a marker where the piece’s borders go. Cut this borders and glue the piece. Here we have a Legodocus.

To the Alosaurus I stick on the pair of hands and foots a two prodded piece. Doing like it we have created the Alolego.

Convert the velociraptor onto a a Velocilego by the way of insert a single piece on each hand. Here I do a mistake. I must stick this pieces leaving outside the positive side. If I will do it, stick guns or tools must be easiest…

And now, convert the T-Rex onto a L-Rex by giving the ability to wear a crown or a hat. To do it, insert a simple one prodded piece on the head.

Cómo visto uno, vistos todos, vamos a verlos todos de golpe:
Al Sthenurus lo convertimos en un Legocanguro por medio de insertarle unos pinchos redondos en los pies. Para cortar estos pinchos redondos que resbalan y se escapan, los clavamos en una pieza de un solo pincho pero larga y con la sierra de marquetería y el bisturí cortamos lo que no nos interesa.

Al Diplodocus le insertamos una pieza de dos pinchos en el lomo. cortamos el lomo plano y marcamos donde irá el borde de la pieza. Ya tenemos un Legodocus.

Al Alosaurio le clavamos sendos pinchos dobles en las patas delanteras y traseras. Con esto hemos creado al Alolego.

Al Velociraptor lo convertiremos en el velocilego he insertado un pincho en cada mano. Aquí me he equivocado, tendría que haberlo insertado por la parte positiva en vez de por la negativa y así me sería más fácil ponerle herramientas, pero bueno...

Y al T-rex, para que pueda llevar corona o sombrero, le insertamos un pincho sencillo en la cabeza. Mediante esta pequeña incisión, hemos creado al L-Rex

Step 4: Let's Play!
