Introduction: Lemon Cake From Scratch -Dessert

Everyone loves sweet treats/ cakes but during these times its not always easy to get them, so its great to know how to make it at home. One of my favorite desserts is lemon cake, and this is what I used to make it:

Materials

Mixer

Measuring cups

Two large bowls

Supplies

Ingredients

4 eggs

salt

sugar

vegetable oil

Milk

Lemon juice

Flour

Baking powder

Step 1:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Separate the yolk from the white of four eggs and add 1/4 teaspoon of salt and mix until fluffy.

Step 2:

In a separate bowl put 1 1/2 cup sugar and 3/4 cup vegetable oil, then add the four egg yolks

Step 3:

Whisk all together until fully combined

Step 4:

Add 2/3 cup milk add 4 tablespoons of lemon juice.

Step 5:

Mix together until smooth.

Step 6:

Put 1 1/2 cups flour, 1 tablespoon baking powder through a sifter.

Step 7:

Whisk by hand and make sure to scrap the sides.

Step 8:

Bring back your whisked egg whites and add a little at a time them mix and repeat.

Step 9:

Oil the pan and add the batter.

Step 10:

Leave in the oven for about 20 minutes.
