Introduction: Life/Fitness Hack Easy Pull Up Straps

About: I suppose you could say I'm into Powerlifting

Pull-ups are a great way to work your upper body, they work many muscle groups such as your lats, traps, rhomboids, biceps and forearms. You can use a bar but straps force you to control your body and make you do the pull-ups with just muscle and not momentum.

I made this instructable because I've been getting a ton of those belts with the shorts I buy, but since I have a nickel allergy I am unable to wear the majority of them. So I had a crazy idea one day to make pull-up straps with some of them. They support my weight just fine and I weigh 150 lbs. I also like to wear gloves when I do the pull-ups as they prevent the straps from sawing on my hands.

Step 1: Supplies

All you need for supplies are
-"D" Ring Belt (2x)
-Sturdy Tree Limb or something solid and horizontal above the ground
Optional:
-Gloves

Step 2: Creating the Hand Holds

Now all you have to do is place the belts on the limb the width you want them, pull them up and fasten them so the buckles face up. Wrap the rest of the belt around the tree and your done! The awesome thing about these pull-up straps is that they are totally adjustable to suit whatever you need them to.

So get out there and get to work! Get swoll!
