Light up minecraft torch! In this DIY I will be showing you how to make a minecraft torch that lights up. Things you will need Tape Paper Scissors A minecraft torch cut out Small light bulb socket Small light bulb to fit in socket Back cardboard piece to a notebook or thin piece of cardboard Thick piece of cardboard Please take a moment to vote in the game.life 3 contes Thanks :)
Step 1: Print Out
The first step you need to print out a cut out of a minecraft torch. Then proceed to cut it out
Step 2: Folding and Taping
Next you need to fold along the tabs. Once you have every fold creased, fold and tape the tabs. Do not tape the ends yet!
Step 3: Support
Next find some sort of cardboard. Trace one side of the torch support. I did it for 2 sides. Your welcome to do it for 4
Step 4: Light Bulb Support
Next you need a toilet paper roll. Once you have that you need to take the light bulb and socket and tape it to the inside of the toilet paper tube.
Step 5: Finishing
Lastly you need to find a thick piece of cardboard for the base. Once you found that place the tube into the torch make sure it fits properly and then you can tape the bottom and the top. I glued mine to the cardboard to help it stand. ( you do not have to use he cardboard base)

thanks for the idea! I wrapped the template around a toilet paper holder and used a battery operated tea light! this was a nice touch for my grandson's Minecraft themed party.

actually its best to use a non heat emitting light source. you dont want your minecraft torch to become a true torch
