Introduction: Lightbulb Flow Lamp

Hello! My name is Charlee Barnett In this instructable you will learn how to make a Light Bulb LED Lamp from scratch. First, you start off with a pre-sketch of how to program the circuit to set each "lightbulb" to the correct delay so that it implements the purpose of the contest.

Supplies

  • LED lightbulbs
  • Arduino Uno Circuit Board
  • Wires
  • Breadboard.

Step 1: Program the Design

I used a online 3D design program called Tinkercad to see how I would program the lightbulbs to blink on and off with different shades of LEDs. I only started off with one to see how I could add 3 more to do the effect I was trying to succeed.

Step 2: Measure & Plan

Before I get started on creating my structure for the contest, I wanted to pre-plan what I want my "Lightbulbs Lamp" to look like and how each component of it can function without extra help or changes to the original structure. I drew out what I want my invention to look like and how big & wide it was going to be.

Step 3: Autodesk Inventor

After, you program the circuit to delay the LEDs for when they are supposed to blink on then off, you need to design the structure of what these lightbulb's will be in. I measured my base of a rectangle of a distance of 1.26 inches, and each lightbulb figure was distance of .04 inches. Overall, measure it how big & wide your lightbulbs you are programming.

Step 4: 3D Print & Construct

Once you have created your base structure, please move forward & program it to the printer. After a couple hours your pieces should be constructed and now you should be able to add your circuit board and compose your lightbulbs into the structure.

Step 5: Assemble.

Lastly, take the pieces from the 3D printer and add your technology to it to see if it works. Make sure to secure everything in the correct order and very clean & neat.Unfortunately, I didn't have time to build this, but I believe it could work if you follow these step-by-step. Thank you! and enjoy you new innovative lamp.
