In this project we will use several glue gun sticks and connect each to two 3D printed pipes that are all fixed on a laser cut 2D base. Inside each pipe there is an LED connected to the Arduino which controls how they light up.

Step 1: Requirements

9 Glue Gun Sticks (11.5 mm Diameter & 20 cm long )
2 or 3 differently colored filament spool
Electric wires & Soldering Iron.
Arduino UNO
6 LED Lights of each (Red, Green & Blue)
Acrylic (Thickness 6 mm)
Breadboard

You'll also need:

Laser Cutter
3D Printer

Step 2: 3D Printing & Laser Cutting

•Start by printing the pipes. Tip: you can print half the model using one color then load another color to get beautiful coloration.

•Laser cut the Base and assemble it. Holes are on top, number 1 on the left, 2 on the right and 3 at the back.

Step 3: Soldering

Solder 2 wires for each LED light. Also, solder the positive poles for each column together.

Step 4: Programming

Connect glue gun sticks between the pipes. Make sure the LED is close/touching the stick.
Connect the wires to the Arduino and upload the code. The pins used are indicated in the code (3, 5, 6, 9, 10 & 11).
