Introduction: Lighting Up Temporary Pumpkin Wand Prop

Hey guys, when I was younger made a star light up wand. It was temporary because you couldn't turn it off. Now that is Halloween season I figured I could use the same method but alter it a little bit. I currently cannot build it because I don't have all and can't find all materials so i'll show a representation on Tinkercad. Luckily, I still remember everything I used and will put all the steps below.

Supplies

You will need:

Any midget light bulb

Negative and positive wire (about 6 inches)

Hollow wood craft stick with with a hole (diameter of hole more that 0.6 inches and length about 5.8 inches)

Two AA batteries

Clear tape

Hot glue and hot glue gun

Homemade or 3D printed hollow pumpkin head with hole at the bottom that fits the craft stick

Step 1: Tape and Cut

Tape the two AA batteries together one on top of the other. Then tape the positive wire to the bottom of the battery combo and the negative wire to the top of the battery combo. Cut the negative wire to be about 1 inches.

Step 2: Insert

Insert the batteries and wires into the hollow stick.

Step 3: Tape the Bulb

Tape the wires (that are suppose to be sticking out) to the light bulb and make sure it's touching the tip of the bulb. The bulb should then light up

Step 4: Finishing

Hot glue the edges of the pumpkin and put it on top of the stick and it should be on top of the bulb. Then hot glue the bottom so the batteries don't fall out. Then your finished.
