Introduction: Linkit One: Blowing an LED

In this tutorial I Will show you how to turn on an led with your mouth. The Led will turn on when start to blow the sound sensor

Step 1: Material and Setup

Material needed for this project are:

  1. Linkit One Board
  2. an LED
  3. digital sound sensor
  4. 3 male to female jumper cable
  5. micro USB cable

To setup the linkit one board follow this link

the connection between the sensor and linkit one board:

GND <-------> GND

Out <---------> D2

Step 2: The Code

Upload this code to your linkit one board. This is actually the digital pull up example from the arduino ide

Input Pullup Serial

This example demonstrates the use of pinMode(INPUT_PULLUP). It reads a digital input on pin 2 and prints the results to the serial monitor.

The circuit: * Momentary switch attached from pin 2 to ground * Built-in LED on pin 13

Unlike pinMode(INPUT), there is no pull-down resistor necessary. An internal 20K-ohm resistor is pulled to 5V. This configuration causes the input to read HIGH when the switch is open, and LOW when it is closed.

Step 3: Test It Out

After you upload the code. open serial monitor then when you blow the sound sensor you will see the LED will also turn on.

The longer you blow, the longer the LED will turn on
