About: and I am a UI/UX, Industrial and Multimedia Designer! I love everything that has to do with human behavior, interaction design, usability and many other cool stuff!

Little house with a light,

Almost made with Natural elements, that you can find near you! The cool thing is that, if you don't have the exactly same natural materials that i use, you can use different ones that you have near you, and the result will also be cool.

You can use it to decorate your house, or even to decorate your Christmas tree.

  • Other natural stuff that you can find

Step 2: Cut It

01- After you print the template, put it upon the cardboard, and use glue tape to fix it. Now cut the 4 shapes. If you are using cardboard like the one in the photo, pay attention to the direction of the cardboard.

02- Make small cuts to make it easy to bend the shapes. Also bend the side of the house to make it round.

03- Now it's time to glue it. Apply the glue in the marked parts and wait a few seconds for it to dry.

04- Make a small cut, like the one in the picture.

05- Apply the intern part and glue it.

Step 3: Light It Up

01- Take the connector block and cut two blocks.

02- Connect the holder, connector block and led like in the picture.

03- Put the chargers in the holder.

05- Lights on!

06- Now apply the connector block with glue, to the top of the house.

07- Carefully bend the wire of the led.

(note: make sure that you connect the positive with the positive and the negative with the negative and also don't let the two wires of the led touch each other)

Step 4: The Roof

01- Glue the roof in one of the sides of the house.

02- Cut a little of velcro, about 5 cm and glue it in the other side.

Step 5: Decoration

Here comes the cool part!

I used some natural materials that i have near me like eucalyptus and pine bark, acorns, natural moss, leaves and another cool things that i had found in the woods, but you can use another stuff that you have near you, in my region i have these kind of trees, but if you have another ones, use it and the result will also be cool.

01- Grab a piece of Eucalyptus bark and break it in to small pieces.

- Then glue these small pieces in one of the sides upwards direction (very important).

- After you fill the side, you can use a scissor or plier to cut the excess of bark.

- Repeat these steps for all the sides of the house.

- Start with the lateral sides of the house next, the front and back sides. Don´t forget to cut the excess in the round hole.

Note: Don´t worry with the little blank spaces, we will decorate it next.

02 - Now lets make the roof, i used pine bark, but like i said earlier you can use other materials that you have near you. Don´t forget to put a thread to hold the house if you want to hang it. Use small pieces of bark and start to glue it in a upwards direction (this will make a cool effect).

03- Now take the little “hat” of the acorn and make a small cut and place it with glue, in a way you can hide the top part of the led - Like it was a little lamp.

Note: I put inside with a little bit of Aluminum foil to make the light more bright, but you can skip this step if you want.

04- Let's cover the little spaces. Use your imagination and fill it it with moss, acorns, leaves, etc... and don´t forget the little branch. Once it is as you like, grab it and hold it where you want.

Have fun!
