Introduction: Littlebits Alarm
Hello! Today I'm going to show you how to build a burglar alarm using LittleBits. Littlebits are a system of interlocking electronics modules that you can use to create all kinds of stuff with. They are really easy to use and great for beginners and prototypers alike.
Step 1: Parts
For this instructable, you will need these bits:
- Power
- Slider
- Buzzer
- Sound Sensor
- Pulse
- 3 way connector
- Latch
- Motion Detector
- Any LED Bit
- Cloudbit
Step 2: Setting Up Power
This is the first part of the bit-build; the power. After the power bit, you should add any sensor and the latch bit proceeding the sensor. After the Latch bit, add the #-way connector( Use picture).
Step 3: Adding the Buzzers and Light Makers!
So now that you have the power setup, it is time to add the actuators to the 3-way connector bit. I chose the arrangement shown in the picture above, but its up to you to mish-mash the actuators together in your own way. Note: I used the Cloudbit in my alarm. If you will seriously use this alarm to protect your valuables, I strongly recommend using the Cloudbit. it can be configured in a way so that it can transmit messages to your laptop. It would notify you if something was up, and would be a good addition to any alarm.
