Introduction: Lizard Leash+Harness

About: I love my baby boy Rango! He is a bearded dragon and he is my world!!!

This is a really cool invention by me! It is a cute, comfy and quick craft to do one weekend. The lizard harness and leash can be made in a variety of sizes. Ranging from baby bearded dragons to large green iguanas! Just tweak the design for a perfect comfortable fit for your reptile. Enjoy...

Step 1: Materials

You will need:

~ Scissors

~ A tape measure

~ Wool/string

~ Poppers

~ Material (leather, cotton, old clothes)

~ Hot glue (if you don't have hot glue, PVA/Super glue would be a substitute)

Step 2: Measuring

Measure your lizards chest area. My lizard is around 6 inches just under his arms. Then measure how far away the arms are from each other. Mine is nearly 3 inches. Then measure how far away his arms are from his throat. Mine is about an inch.

Step 3: Cutting

Cut the arms where they are supposed to be mine would be 1" from the top and 3" away from each other. Try to plot these in the centre of your fabric.

Step 4: String

Make two small holes about a centimetre away from the arm holes (diagonally) Take two pieces of wool (in this case) and thread them through the front of your fabric so that they will come out of the back. The front will have a piece of wool running across the middle.

Step 5: Poppers

Glue or sew on your poppers. One pair at the top, the other at the bottom.

Step 6: Done!

Now you're all done! Try it on your lizard and hopefully it will fit well!!! It may take a while for your lizard to get used to it but I'm sure that they'll love it!!!
