Introduction: Lm386 Multi Purpose Amp
The Lm386 milti purpose amp, can be used with audio devices, guitars etc :) ENJOY !!!! and it works great :P
WARNING - do not connect to 12v dc supply, the lm386 and the 100uF cap may blow up !!!
HAPPENED WITH ME :p
Step 1: Parts U Need !!
- LM386 IC
- 10K POT
- 220uF CAP
- 10uF CAP
- 100uF CAP
- 0.047uF CAP
- AUDIO MALE FEMALE JACKS AS PER REQUIREMENT !!
- AUDIO CABLE
Step 2: SCHEMATICS
follow the given schematics first on a breadboard to avoid any inconvenience and later put it on a circuit or purf board and solder.
Step 3: SPEAKERS
- I've arranged the speakers from a junk shop nearby.
- they are loud enough but after a certain amount of amplification they start to distort.
- it would be better if you use bigger and more powerful speaker.

This would be a better image for your schematic.

u made it or picked it up from somewhere ??

That image is a proper schematic done from your hand drawn schematic. I have made a similar build but used extra filtering capacitors between +VCC and ground because I powered mine from a wall supply and was getting noise. If you wanted to power it with a wall adapter, you only need to add 100uF and a 100nF caps in parallel between +VCC and GND to filter noise. Here is the schematic I used:

to be clear this is mono correct? not stereo. 3 speakers are shown suggesting its a 2.1 system with left and right channels with bass. Unless somehow a lm386 is capable of this i am co fused at the use of 3 speakers. If it is capable please explain.

They r all in parallel , i just connected as many speakers as i had :p so nothing to worry about and yes it s a mone :)
