Intro: Locket 3D

When my other half started talking about wanting a 3D printer, all I could think about was how neat it would be to make jewelry with it. So I wanted to try making a locket into a 3D design . The first thing I decided was that I didn't want to do the traditional "hinge" in order to make an interchangeable locket.  I created the top piece blank so that I could put different designs on it.  This way there could be a different design for different times of the year, events, or just something that would be neat. The other thing that I love is the ability to make the design pop out or be engraved in the locket.  I hope one day soon I will be able to make this and more!
