Introduction: MINECRAFT Ultimate Land Mine

Hey guys this is a tutorial to show u how to make an awesome landmine in minecraft .A while back i used to have the problem of mobs(monsters) entering my fortress even if it had a moat & arrow dispensers. so this was the solution I came up with io rnd the problem once & for all.

Step 1: ITEMS REQUIRED

  1. 4 redstone torches
  2. dirt blocks
  3. 4 sticky piston
  4. 4 pressure plates
  5. 4 TNT
  6. (optional)pickaxe

Step 2: MAKING a HOLE

THIS IS VERY EASY. just make a hole in the ground that is 2 blocks wide & 5 blocks deep.after doing so u must make a 1 block wide & 5 blocks deep hole adjacent to the 2x5 hole as shown in the diagram.

Step 3: PLACING THE TORCHES

Put the 4 redstone torches on the base of the hole as shown in the image. please do not put a redstone torch on the base of the escape route.

Step 4: PLACING THE PISTONS

Place the 4 sticky pistons [2 BLOCKS] above the redstone torches.ALL 4 STICKY PISTONS MUST FACE DOWNWARD. Again remember not to put a piston over your escape route.

Step 5: PLACING THE TNT

YOU MIST BE VERY CAREFUL WHILE DOING THIS STEP. Place 4 TNT blocks directly below the pistons BUT 1 BLOCK ABOVE THE TORCHES[COMPULSARY].do not cover your escape route with TNT.

Step 6: GETTING OUT

get out of there using the escape route . On your way up fill the escape route using dirt blocks.

Step 7: ARMING THE TRAP

Cover the hole using dirt blocks and place pressure plates on them . NOW BEWARE THE TRAP IS ARMED. IF YOU ATE TO EVEN ACCIDENTLY STEP ON IT THE TNT WILL EXPLODE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Step 8: A FEW TIPS

Hope you guys out there like my landmine idea. hope it works out with promising results.

now for a few tips :

1. the bomb works extreamly well on dirt or sand.

2. try not to keep the mine very close to your castle/home/base because it may get destroyed when the landmine is triggered.
