Introduction: Macrame Friendship Bracelet (Tutorial)

Step 1: Supplies

You need any chord of your choosing, I used braiding chord cause that what I had available and when ever I make a chorded bracelet, I always use braiding chord Lol
-But you need chord of your choosing
-And scissors

Step 2: Setup

When you chosen your chord, cut the chord to a good length, cause it's either be safe than sorry. So I cut my chord and separated them, only have to use 2 colors.
once done fold the string in half to find the middle and tie a simple knot at the top to hold them together.
Like so in the pictures above

If you found out how to use more than 2, HMU I'll be interested in other versions of this bracelet!

Step 3: Starting

When starting, setup the chord like how I did in the picture, with 2 in the middle and 1 on each side.
When that's done, start off with either side of your choosing, I started on my right hand side, which is the black and tied a simple knot around the 2 string I the middle like so in the picture, repeat it and do the same thing on the other side but opposite like so in the pictures and your knots should look like how I have mine in the picture.

Step 4: Continuing

Once you have that done, you basically work your way down the chord till you reach your desired length and it should look like mine as you work your way down.

Step 5: Ending

When you reach the end, or your desired length, you would want to tie a regular not like how you did at the top.
BUT!! If your stings ended up short like mine and to difficult to tie the knot, follow my pictures on how to tie it off.
What I basically did, is that I used the 2 middle string and tied that simple knot around the 2 stings on the side, like so in the picture.
When done, cut off the excess string that u tired around and make a ending knot, a knot pretty big to put through the top loop to hold it together when you wear it.

Step 6: COMPLETED!!

Now that your done, you can give it to your friends or wear it yourself!!

I am using hemp and yarn for my bracelet. Sadly, I have no friends.
