Introduction: Magazine Cover Picture Frames

About: I am a conceptual artist, and my DIY projects are mostly inspired by pop culture (movies, music, sports, TV). I mostly specialize in painting, graphic design, drawing, digital photography, performance art, and…

Make adorable picture frames out of old magazine covers that are sure to preserve your fondest memories!

Step 1: What You'll Need

Here's what you'll need to make these colorful frames:

  • wooden picture frames
  • old magazines
  • scissors
  • X-acto knife
  • Mod Podge
  • sponge brush

Step 2: Prep Magazine Cover

First, tear out the front cover of an old magazine. Then, using a marker, trace around the frame, and cut out the square. You'll need scissors to cut around the square, and an X-acto knife to cut out the inner square.

Step 3: Add Mod Podge

Then, just apply a generous amount of Mod Podge, adhere it to the front of your wooden frame, and add another layer of Mod Podge on top to seal. Then, let dry.

Step 4: Ready to Use!

Now, just add a small picture to the inside of the frame, and it's ready to display in your home! This also makes for a great gift idea!
