How I Turned Some Very Crappy Web Cam Picture Into Some Good Stuff

Its incredibly Easy To do and Only Take about 5 min to Make a Good Pic Like The Ones Below

STEP 1: Setting the Format

After Opening Up Photoshop-

Open The Picture You Wish To Edit.

Set The Brush To The History Brush

Set The Size To your Desired Size

And Set The Mode To Mutiply

Step 1. Done Easy!

STEP 2: Applying the Tone

Make Sure You Cover All Of The picture

With 1 Layer Of It Before You Add Nice

Touches To The Picture

STEP 3: Touch Up

Now That You Have It Set You Can Add Some Detail that Will Make The Picture Memorable.

Some Great Places To Add Extra Layers Of Color Is

On The Eyes

Under The Eyes

Around The bone Structure

And Around The Mouth.

And in The Hard Shadows

Sometimes the picture gets pixilated so to smooth it out and give it a even Look i Set The Blur Tool To 13 and Add it To All The Rough Parts.

*Warning - Make Sure Not to Add Too Much to The eyes*

In regard to the "cover all of the picture with 1 layer..." part, it would be easier to just duplicate the layer and set the blending mode to multiply on the top one.

Nope, Its Just Easier to Use a Big Brush And Just Cover The Pic In a Layer _

True, particularly if the picture isn't directly from a camera, but I like layers because they allow you to adjust things after the fact.

Naw, After You add this effect even at the lightest setting it turns the picture red and black

yes, but for example, if someone did this, and wanted it a bit lighter, the dodge tool would do the job.
