Introduction: Make Your Own Capacitor at Home
In this instructable, I will show you how to make a capacitor at home without any single rupee and all recycled parts. We will make it with the help of small bottle, aluminium foil, water, salt and wire.
Step 1: Materials
1. Small Bottle
2. Aluminium Foil
3. Lukewarm water
Step 2: Hole
First of all make the hole on the cap of the bottle. This is the opening for the wire to go in.
Step 3: Wrap
Wrap the aluminium foil around the bottle removing the cap.
Step 4: Pour
Pour the lukewarm water and salt in it.
Step 5: Capacitor Ready
Now, put the wire from the hole and your capacitor is ready. Put the terminals of the multimeter at aluminium foil and wire. Aluminium is the negative terminal while copper wire is positive.

And what is the capacitance of the final product? Can you guess at the voltage rating or enery storage?
