    Would this work with LED strips? I want to add some to my car so they would react to my car's subwoofer.

    LED Strips require a higher voltage, usually 12v. You would need to use a mosfet transistor with the woofer across Gate and source and additional power input (the 12v battery) across Source and Drain with the LED strip in series. I'll mock up a schematic if you need to illustrate this for you.
