Make a Adjustable Brightness Flashlight!

Just make it, whether its for seeking about,or scurrying out about, its perfect and pocket size!!!

Step 1: YOU EXPECT TO DO THIS WITHOUT MATERIALS?heck Not!

k, you need a 501 pot resister(from a old non working printer will be good...)
A pole switch (from Radio shack)
A 2 AAA battery holder with cover(from radio Shack)
2 AAA Batteries
Good idea to have a bread board for a prototype!
2 core wire(black and red)
Glue
And Lots Of Electrical tape LOLZZ
also, a any coler led that will work on 2 AAA batterys(FROM RADIO SHACK!!!)

A Master Soldering Skill With A Soldering Pencil
^{this is because we will be soldering wires on small terminals on the parts and soldering wires together!!}

Step 2: Lay Out Your Parts!! in This Step, Have Your Bread Bord Handy!

I WILL REFUSE TO TAKE THIS APART!!! I STRUGGLED ALOT GETTING IT TOGETHER!!

first attach the battery holder to the positive and negative parts of the the power on the bread bord.

just follow this circuit diagram and make it on your breadboard


after its done test it by putting in the battetrys and turn the switch on. try messing with the pot with a screw driver.see if it dims and brightens,if so, your ready for next step, if not,troble shoot!

Step 3: Sodering Time!

solder the same circut as before using your sodering skills...

Step 4: Lots of Tape and Glue!!

k.. we did that, time to fully assemble!!!turn the battery holder over cover side down and glue the pole switch and the pot switch,and the led some where, let it sit for 2-days for best results

then tape all wires down,and run a test. if it dosent work, troble shoot

Step 5: All Done!
