Introduction: Camera-Microscope Combiner Made With Lego

About: New to Instructable and still learning.

Hello everyone,

Today I'll show how to make a camera to microscope combiner (made with Lego parts) which we can capture details on microscope easier. Let's start!

Step 1: Collect Materials

We need a little microscope and Lego parts shown above. Please check Lego parts carefully. (The Lego sticks shown are 9.5 cm) Then, go to the next step.

Step 2: Let's Start!

Take this 2 curved Lego parts and combine it on Lego stick as shown above.

Step 3: Making the Body

Take the large 2 Lego parts (shown above) and combine them. The combined stick should be on the short part of body Lego. Another one should be on the other end.

Step 4: Check It

Thing that you build on Step 3 must look like this. If you checked this, continue to the next step.

Step 5: Making the Movable Component (1)

Collect this items and combine that as shown on second photo.

Step 6: Making the Movable Component (2)

Connect the parts made in the previous step to the body Lego. It should appear like in the photo.

Step 7: Making the Movable Component (3)

Take this 2 Lego parts and connect to the other part of the previous combination. It should look like in the photo.

What is the function of this?
This will make the camera tight to the microscope.

Step 8: Connecting the Microscope

Now take the microscope and connect to the head of body Lego.

Step 9: Tightening the Microscope

The microscope may easy slipping from the head, so take 2 red Lego pieces (shown on the photo) and insert to the top of head.

Step 10: Last Check

At last, the head of body should look like in the photo. If you did this, it's done! Congratulations you have been successfully did this one.

Step 11: Use It

In this project, I'm using Nikon Coolpix L29 (A10, L24, L32 and more products also on same size). After placing the camera, tighten it to microscope by push the movable part. And you're ready to use it.

Step 12: Capture and Share!

Now you have a gadget to capture small things easily. Just try to a thing, it is very cool. I also capture many of things and shared on Youtube. You can watch it (English CC/Subtitle available).

If you have a question about the project, please don't hesitate for ask me. Enjoy it!
