Introduction: Make a Cardboard Bookcase
Got too many books? Got a box? Then you have the main ingredients to make a cheap bookcase.
Note: Almost all steps are accompanied with images.

Step 1: Materials Needed
Step 2: Optional Step: Tape Bottom of Box
This step is not necessary, because most boxes are pre-taped. However, if you bought compacted boxes, you need to tape one side of the box shut.
Step 3: Step 1: Cut Flaps Off Box
A) Use the box knife to cut off a flap of the box. Be careful, you can cut yourself if you aren't.
B) Repeat step A) 3 more times.

Step 4: Step 2: Make and Insert Shelf
A) Take the shorter flaps.
B) Staple them together.
C) Fold the longer flaps in half. (Groove the middle of the flaps to help fold.)
D) Put the longer flaps around the two connected shorter flaps as shown in accompanying image.
E) Staple them together.
F) Insert shelf into box.
G) Staple sides of shelf to box.
B) Staple them together.
C) Fold the longer flaps in half. (Groove the middle of the flaps to help fold.)
D) Put the longer flaps around the two connected shorter flaps as shown in accompanying image.
E) Staple them together.
F) Insert shelf into box.
G) Staple sides of shelf to box.
Step 5: Step 3: Finishing Touches
You are finished! You can personalize it as you want or you can make another one. Have fun!
