Step 1: Checkerboard

6X6 paper (15 cm x 15 cm)

Make a grid on the paper. On the top, bottom and sides draw a mark on 2 inches and then mark a line on 4 inches.

Step 2: Cutting

For the middle top and bottom squares, cut two triangles.

The out side squares into thirds. Avoid the cross in the middle.

When the outside squares are cut into thirds, take the inner strands and glue together.

Do this to all strands on both sides.

Once all strands are glued together, glue the triangle onto the glued strands. Do this for both sides.

Cut 2 circles.

Fold the circles in half, and glue them onto the glued strands and triangles.
