Introduction: Make a Headphone Speaker From a CD Laser Lens
CD and other optical drives have small coils and magnets to focus the laser with. I show how to extract the assembly and hook it up to music devices. The resulting speaker has great potential as a headphone. Use an MP3 player or other audio device that isn't precious to you, it may malfunction when connected to the speaker.
