Introduction: Make an Inexpensive Guitar Stand From PVC Pipe
Learn to make a simple and effective guitar stand from inexpensive PVC pipe.
Materials:
All PVC is Schedule 40 1/2"
1 x 12"
2 x 5"
2 x 3"
2 x 2"
8 x 1"
6 x PVC Tee
2 x PVC 90 degree elbow
8 x PVC end cap
You will also need some epoxy or other adhesive for a few of the components. Paint is optional.

Very nice. I would suggest pvc glue rather than epoxy though.

I normally use PVC cement and PVC Primer when I work with PVC pipe. In this case, I wasn't sure I was going to want to paint it so I wanted to avoid using the primer since it tends to leave ugly purple stains. Since there is no pressure in this pipe, using epoxy should work for this purpose. PVC Primer and cement would have a much stronger bond though.
