Intro: Make Your Own Legos

In this instructable I will show you how to duplicate your Legos . It is extremely easy and almost is free to make .

STEP 1: What You Need

To make the Legos you will need

Parent supervision

Clay (any kind works)

a lighter

A Lego

A candle

And pliers

WARNING : in this instructable we will be using a lighter and hot candle wax wich can both cause severe burning

STEP 2: Making the Mold

The first step to this project is making the mold . To make the mold you carefully insert the Lego into the clay .Once the Lego is all the way into the clay use the pliers to take it out ( it's easier to get the Lego out if you wiggle it a little when taking it out of the clay )

STEP 3: Step 2 Pouring the Wax Into the Mold

(This is the part where you need a parent )

To get the wax you need to light the candle and let it burn until the wax is completely melted . Then pour the melted wax into the mold and let it sit for 1 minute . After one minute put the mold into the freezer for 1 hour or put it into the refrigerator for 2 or 3 hours

STEP 4: Revealing Your New Lego

After the mold has cooled for a few hours peel or cut away the clay and you are left with a beautiful new Lego !

Does it melt when you are playing with them?

Bit more costly, but alot more convenient to use silicone to make a flexible mould, that you could reuse again and again

Might want to push the brick into the back of the wax before it cools so they stack up like regular Legos
