Introduction: Makedo Cardboard Foosball Table

About: Makedo is a series of safe cardboard construction tools purposely designed for kids to imagine and build the world they want to see.

You and your friends will be kicking goals with this fully functional Foosball Table.
It’s a quick and easy project, and there’ll be hours of play once the making is done.
We’ve used a fruit box, some cardboard tubes, stiff card and Makedo parts available from mymakedo.com 

Step 1: Saw

To create the rods for your Cardboard Foosball Table, use the Makedo Safe-saw and cut 2 slits on each end of your paper tube leaving enough space for your hand to hold on to. Ensure that the slit is cut only half way through the tube.

Step 2: Flatten

Flatten the centre part of the paper tube. This is where the players will connect to. Repeat this step with the remaining 4 paper tubes.

Step 3: Saw

On the sides of your fruit box, use the Makedo Safe-saw and cut out 4 evenly spaced circles that are slightly bigger than the diameter of your paper tubes.

Step 4: Build

Slide the paper tubes through the holes.

Step 5: Draw

To create the players for your teams, cut out 6 rectangle sheets of cardboard. each team will have 3 players each. Draw your characters in different colours on the card or simply colour code the cards to distinguish the two teams.

Step 6: Connect

Connect the players to the rods by punching a hole using the point end of the Makedo Safe-saw and connecting with Re-clips.

Step 7: Complete

To complete your Cardboard Foosball, use the Makedo Safe-saw to cut a rectangle goal at each end of your fruitbox. You are now ready to play. Why not create a score board too! Remember to share your creation at mymakedo.com.
