Introduction: Makedo Advent Calendar

About: Makedo is a series of safe cardboard construction tools purposely designed for kids to imagine and build the world they want to see.
Count down the days until Christmas with this Makedo advent calendar! All you need is ild gift boxes and Makedo re-pins and re-clips available at mymakedo.com.

Step 1: Find

Source materials such as old gift boxes to create your advent calendar. For this project you will need 28 Makedo re-pins and re-clips and a Makedo safe-saw.

Step 2: Organise

Arrange the boxes in to any configuration that you wish. It's all about being creative. For this project we have chosen the shape of a Christmas tree.

Step 3: Punch

Once you have chosen your configuration, use the point end of the Makedo safe-saw and punch holes on the location of where the boxes will connect.

Step 4: Connect

Connect the boxes using the Makedo re-pins and re-clips. Start connecting each horizontal layer first and then move on to building and connecting the rows vertically. Each row connection should only require 2 Makedo re-pins and re-clips.

Step 5: Complete

The build of your Makedo calendar is complete. Just finish off with numbers and decorative features of your choice using found material. Don't forget to share your creation by uploading it at mymakedo.com. We would love to see the result.
