Introduction: Makedo Sitting Stool
Build a quick and portable sturdy stool perfect for outdoor occasions. All you need is a box and Makedo re-pins and re-clips available at mymakedo.com.
This instructable was designed by Tanaka Satoshi, Makedo's master maker in Japan.
Step 1: Find
Source a suitable sized box tall enough as a stool to sit on.
Step 2: Score
Begin by placing the box on its side. Use the point end of the Makedo safe-saw and score from the bottom corner of the box to the centre point of the top end of the box.
Step 3: Saw
Use the Makedo safe-saw and saw the center of the top flap to meet the point of where the score line meets. Repeat step 2 and 3 on the other side of the box.
Step 4: Fold
Where the score lines have been made in the previous step, fold the sides in as shown in the image. As the sides fold in, the top flaps of the box should meet and create the shape of the stool.
Step 5: Punch & Connect
Use the point end of the Makedo safe-saw and punch a hole on the top. Connect using a Makedo pin and clip to hold in place.
Step 6: Build
Repeat step 6 on the other side of the box.
Step 7: Share
Your portable stool is ready to be tested out. Create different sizes, patterns and colours using different found boxes. Share and upload your creation to mymakedo.com.

Awesome stool and nice presentation. One tip I can offer is that a pizza cutter does a great job of creasing cardboard.
