Making Your Own Clamp. Lost Foam Casting. Aluminum

I needed to use one more clamp for making one project, so I decided to make one out of aluminum.

Step 1: Making a Pattern and a Mold

Using foam cutting a pattern of a clamp and making a green sand mold/

Step 2: Melting Aluminum

Melting aluminum and start casting

Step 3: Open a Mold

When the mold becomes colder it's time to open it.

Step 4: Processing the Clamp

Drilling, taping and welding

Step 5: Result

The clamp is strong enough and works how it was planned.
